Summer is here!

Happy summer everyone!

This month has come and gone in the blink of an eye! May always brings a nice change of pace for just a couple of weeks before summer. It's a chance to land the plane smoothly and ease into a longer season of rest. We've had a handful of end of year parties, sent 150 students (13 from Collin) to the Student Institute of Campus Ministry, fundraised from 9-5pm for a whole week, and for those of us who didn't go to SICM we planned all of Summer FOCUS so all we have to do every Thursday come summer is execute it.

Ok so maybe that sounds like a lot more than a smooth landing of a plane...but it was a change of pace for sure and I've enjoyed getting to spend a bit more time with coworkers across all of our campuses than I typically do.

While I didn't go to SICM this year, here just a couple pictures from the week. I've loved hearing stories from them and can't wait to see how they each take what they learned this last week and apply it on campus in the fall.

I look forward to sharing about fun things we get to do this summer! Please be praying for our team to rest well as we gear up for next year. Please also be praying for us as we brainstorm ministry strategy for the upcoming year, for discernment in that and who we invite to be student leaders.
